Top 5 Underrated Cars
Hey! Guys today in this blog we are going to talk about the most underrated cars in the Indian Market. Inspite of having better built, good feature, still the cars are not able to make their place into the top 10. Unfortunately we Indians like the cars which many people buy, irrespective of their build quality their less powerful engine etc.So, here is the list of top 5 underrated -
1. Toyota Yaris
Toyota is known for their powerful and reliable engines. Toyota Innova, Fortuner are their flagship products which have made a craze in the Indian Market. Inspite of having better built, powerful engine, a remarkable plastic quality, the car has not attracted the Indian customers. The car which is low in maintanice and has a reliable engine, still buyers are not willing to buy this car. The car is priced at Ex Showroom 9.16 lakhs. It gets a proper CVT gearbox, I agree that the CVT gearbox is bit laggy. However, if you want a car which is better in built, has features, comfortable and good suspension. You should not think a lot, and invest your hard earned money into this car.
2. Maruti Suzuki Ignis
Now you will be surprised to know that even the best selling company, Maruti has a underrated car. Inspite of having a three star average safety rating which is great if compared with the Suzuki Swift, the car is not able to convenience the Indian customers. The looks of the car are criticised a lot, however if you take a test drive you will get to known the handling suspension and overall performance of the car. The Delta variant is the most budget friendly variant. The car is priced at 4.95 lakh - 7.36 lakh.
3. Ford Freestyle
Now next on our list is the American carmaker 'FORD' motors. Now Ford cars have exceptional build quality, good interiors, best in class handling, great steering dynamics, etc. But still Ford cars India are not able to sell their vehicles when compared with Swift , Blaeno or some other Hyundai car. The reason behind it can be the Ford company itself, because the car hasn't got a facelift since it was launched.Morover, the Indian customers are in the hunt for automatic cars, however the Ford cars India has discountined the automatic variants of the freestyle. Before buying the Baleno or the Swift which have a very low NCAP rating, you should better switch to the Ford Freestyle.
4. Honda Jazz
Next on our list is the Honda Jazz, Jazz is one of the best product to consider if you are planning the Hyundai i20 or the Suzuki Baleno. Jazz has one of the most reliable i-vtec petrol engine, which is capable of producing 88 bhp of power which is more than enough for a hatchback. The build quality and overall plastic quality of the car is unmatched if compared with the Baleno and the i-20. So. if you are looking for a heavy built car, better handling and a reliable car to invest in, Honda Jazz can be the one to consider.
5. Nissan Micra (CVT)
If you are looking for a AMT hatchback then Nissan CVT can be the better product to invest in. The response from the CVT gearbox of the Micra is exceptional. When you drive Swift AMT or the Grand i10 nio AMT you will feel jerky and less fun to drive, however if you test drive the Nissan CVT it will bring a smile on your face.
So, choice is yours, you are the one who is going to buy the car. However, as a car expert, my work is to suggest you better cars, which will enhance your ownership experience and bring a smile on your face. So to sumarise buy the cars which have better built, better suspension, and overall driving dynamics, not the one's which your neighbours and friends have bought.
