Maruti Suzuki Swift #Limitless Thrill
Maruti Suzuki Swift #Limitless Thrill
This Blog is going to be one of the most favorite blogs of mine Swift which was launched in 2005, is in its 3rd generation avtar. Swift is known for its 1200cc petrol and the DDIS diesel engine. However, Suzuki has discontinued its diesel engine which has really made people switch to the Hyundai Aura. Swift is known for its mileage and also because of its low maintenance cost. However, there are lot many changes made to the swift which makes swift, a feature-loaded and reliable hatchback. So is Swift made for you ??, let's find that in this blog.
Drive Review!!!
When you get into the swift first thing you will notice is the all-black sporty interiors. When you get into the driving seat you will notice the big 9 inches infotainment system. However, the peppy diesel engine is no more on offer. The steering dynamics of Swift are just awesome, take a test drive you will get to know what I am speaking about. Maruti Suzuki India has reduced the overall weight of the car by "400 kgs", now this has challenged the safety of the car. The car has bagged with a 2-star safety rating in the GNCAP. However, due to the lightweight chassis of the car, it has the ability to deliver up to 23.20 kmp/l with the petrol engine.
Now talking about the transmission and the engine, the beast is parked with a 1.2 ltr Advanced K series Daul Jet VVT engine with an idle start-stop function. Moreover, you get a gasoline fuel injection system, which fulfills all the BS6 Emission norms. Swift is offered in two transmissions the manual one and the most jerky - the AMT gearbox.
The NVH level of the swift is just remarkable, which is the case with all Maruti Suzuki cars. It's very silent inside the cabin The car is best for drivers who love to drive in the city. The swift is offered in 9 different colors, the red color seems more sporty and elegant.
There is a total of 9 variants on offer. So that means there is "Swift" for everyone. Now talking about the most value for money variant of the Swift, VXI will be the one. It has all the necessary features, which will fulfill your demands. The Swift is priced as low as ₹ 5.73 - 8.41 Lakh. So if you are a budget buyer, you can go with the LXI, and if you want a car just to commute from point A to B, you can go for the VXI, but if you are in the search for a feature-loaded hatchback my recommendations will be to invest in the ZXI or the ZXI+.
Verdict....
So if you want to commute in the city, there is no better option than Swift. However, if you drive your car on the highways, then the high-speed stability of the Swift is not at par. So my suggestion would be to test-drive the TATA Altroz or the Tata Tiago. The safety of the Swift is a bit of concern, so if you want a safe car, move to Tata Altroz or the Tata Tiago.
